The birth anniversary of Sudha Murthy was celebrated in the school premises by the English club 'Alphabet'. The day began with the special morning assembly dedicated to Sudha Murthy. Students from various grades participated in a presentation that showcased her life, journey, achievements and the impact of her philanthropic work. Students presented a skit on 'How I Taught My Grandmother to Read', written by Sudha Murthy emphasizing the value of education, determination and the special bond between generations. It was a perfect performance for students to showcase the importance of literacy and the impact of learning and brought out the emotional depth of the narrative while maintaining the simplicity and authenticity.
Principal Mrs.Vishalakshi appreciated the participants of the skit on “How I taught my grandmother to read”. In her message on this special occasion, she said that Sudha Murthy has not only made significant contributions to literature but also to the society through her relentless social work.
