TEACHERS’ DAY



          “A teacher plants the seeds of knowledge, sprinkles them with love and patiently nurtures their growth.”

      Little Angels School marked Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2024, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, a great teacher and a philosopher. The day was celebrated with the great enthusiasm and admiration.

   The event commenced with the offering of floral tributes to the portrait of

Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The gesture symbolised respect and admiration for teachers as the true Nation builders.

    The programme  continued with a series of vibrant cultural performances including recitation, song and greetings by the student council members  who expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for their teachers.

    Students of class 10 played the role of teachers for the day, stepping into the shoes of their educators and teaching different subjects to their peers. The students showcased their creativity and knowledge as they conducted lessons across various subjects. Their peers were highly engaged and the activity was both fun and educational.

    In her message Principal Mrs. Visalakshi spoke about the immense influence teachers have on their students’ lives. Drawing inspiration from Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam's ‘Wings of Fire’, she emphasized how the role of teachers influenced their students to dream big and soar high.

      The programme concluded by proposing the vote of thanks followed by the National Anthem.

       Later ,in the library, a special programme was organised for the teachers to unwind and celebrate their contributions and dedication. It was a heartfelt gesture from the school management to acknowledge the dedication and hard work.

    Director Mr. Kranti Kiran attended the programme  & greeted the teachers on their special day and also advised the teachers that they should not only impart knowledge but also should foster values and character in every student.

      As a part of Teachers’ Day various games were conducted for the Teachers. All the teachers participated enthusiastically. Our Director Sir gave away the prizes to winners of various games.

       As a gesture of gratitude and  appreciation our esteemed management expressed their heartfelt thanks to all our teachers through a  gift . The special programme concluded by proposing vote of thanks.
