FIELD TRIP TO SUBMARINE MUSEUM

(INS KHURSURA)

“Learning is an adventure and every field trip is a new chapter in the adventure”.

Little Angels School organised a Field Trip for the students of class 7 to submarine Museum (INS Kursura) in Visakhapatnam. It was an unforgettable experience which offered a unique opportunity to explore life inside a submarine.

Students were   guided through the narrow passages of the submarine by the museum staff. Students understood how submarines are operated and the challenges faced by sailors living in confined spaces. They showed  our students the sleeping quarters, the control room, torpedo launches and kitchens used by the crew. The intricate machinery  and vintage equipment amazed the students. Students learnt about the submarine’s role in patrolling and defending India's water during its active service. Walking through it gave students a glimpse into the lives of naval officers.

Students shared their experience by describing their favourite part of the museum. Many expressed interests in pursuing careers in Science, Engineering or Defence.

The trip to the Submarine Museum was an enriching experience that combined education, history and fun.
