Art club ‘Splash’ celebrated the birth anniversary of ‘Sathyaraj Lakshmi Narayana’ known professionally as ‘Bapu’ on the 13th of December.
Bapu was an Indian film director, painter, illustrator,
cartoonist, music artist and designer, known for his works in Telugu and Hindi cinema.
Principal Smt.Visalakshi, Headmistress Smt.Arundhati and teachers offered floral tributes to the portrait of the great artist.
A report highlighting Bapu's achievements and his contributions to art was presented in the assembly. Tips and techniques for good drawing skills were also presented in the Assembly.
Principal Smt. Visalakshi and Headmistress Smt. Arundhati gave away the prizes for the winners of the Spot Painting competition conducted by the Art Club-Splash.
Principal Smt. Visalakshi extended her greetings to all the prize winners. She advised the students to take pride in their work, share their ideas of freely and most importantly enjoy the process of creating. The Principal encouraged the students to follow the techniques of drawing skills, which not only help to become a good artist but also in their academic activities in order to enhance the 21st century life skills.
