NATIONAL SHORT STORY DAY

“The beauty of a short story is that it can take you on a complete journey in just a few pages”.

English Club ‘Alphabet’ celebrated National short story day on the 20th of December. A special assembly was organised by the English Club, wherein a report showcasing the importance of reading stories and the various elements required for writing a good story were presented by the students.

The students of the primary wing narrated stories from the Panchatantra. Narration of short stories not only helps the students to develop speaking skills and presentation skills but also contributes to their holistic development, preparing them for various academic and real-life situations.

Principal Smt. Visalakshi in her address encouraged the students to read stories written by good authors, as they offer valuable lessons about life, relationships and human behaviour. She inspired the students  to read stories to overcome obstacles, achieve goals and to think in a new and innovative way.

The students of class 6 to 9 took an active participation in the ‘Panchatantra quiz competition’, a learning platform to foster both academic excellence and personal growth.
