India is a unique nation, whose fabric has been woven by diverse linguistic, cultural and religious threads.
Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat is a flagship initiative launched by the Government of India to foster national integration and unity among diverse cultures of the country. Announced in 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the programme aims to promote mutual understanding, cultural exchange and collaboration between states and union territories. It seems to strengthen the spirit of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat and celebrate the rich cultural tapestry that defines India.
Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram celebrated Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat with a lot of enthusiasm. In the school assembly, poems in Telugu and on Bihu were recited. A conversation was read on the importance of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat. A fusion dance performance showcased the Bihu and Sankranti dance. The exchange of thoughts and ideas between Andhra Pradesh and Assam gives the opportunity to the people to know more about the two states.
Kite Making and Flying competition was conducted for the boys. Rangoli competitions were conducted for the girls. Children enjoyed the celebrations. By promoting inter-state connections and collaboration, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat aspires to strengthen the fabric of the nation and ensure that India's cultural wealth becomes a source of strength and solidarity for future generations.
