Doctors' Day Celebrations
National Doctors' Day was organised by the Science club in the school premises with great enthusiasm to acknowledge the invaluable contribution of doctors to
society and express gratitude for their selfless service.
* A special assembly was conducted in which students recited a poem and read an article on Doctors’ Day.
* School Captains along with teachers visited Visakhapatnam Steel General Hospital (VSGH) and wished the doctors.
* A team of dentists were invited as guests to the school. Dr. Deepti Chandrika,MDS, a respected and experienced medical professional, graced the occasion along with her dedicated team of Dentists — Dr. Vidyavathi and Dr. Satish.
* The programme began with a prayer song, followed by a brief introduction of the guests.
* Dr. Deepti Chandrika addressed the students of classes 9&10 and also the students of class 8 who are ambitious to be doctors on the topic ‘Importance of oral in children for a healthy body and how excess intake of sugar leads to dental problems in children’.
* She interacted with the students and shared valuable health tips in a child friendly manner. The session was highly interactive and educational.
* The Principal felicitated the doctors with tokens of appreciation and heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the school Management, staffs and students.
* Dental checkup was conducted by Dr. Deepti Chandrika and her team for the students of classes 4 to 8.
* It was a memorable event that not only honoured the dedication of our medical heroes but also instilled in students a deep respect for the healthcare community.
