Little Angels School joyfully celebrated Vanamahotsava, a three-day event (03-07-25 to 05-07-25) dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of trees and protecting our environment. The celebration was filled with meaningful activities that combined learning, creativity, and action.

Day 1: Special Assembly and Seed Ball Preparation:

The celebrations began with a special assembly program, through the PA system, where students were educated on the importance of plants through a conversation, followed by a 'Green Pledge' taken by all students.

Students of classes 8 and 9 enthusiastically participated in the preparation of seed balls. They learned about the science behind seed germination, selection of native species and the importance of soil and moisture. This hands-on activity instilled in them a sense of responsibility towards nature.

Day 2: Green Photography and Leaf Art Competitions:

Green Photography Competition – Students of classes 8 to 10 captured stunning moments of nature, showcasing trees, flowers, birds, and green landscapes in and around the school premises.

Leaf Art Competition – Students of classes 4 to 7 turned fallen leaves into imaginative artworks, creating animals, patterns and beautiful designs. The event encouraged observation skills and appreciation for natural resources.

Day 3: Seed Ball Distribution programme at Sector -7:

The grand finale of Vanamahotsava was marked by a community outreach programme. Students, along with teachers, visited Sector-7 Township Garden to distribute the seed balls they had prepared.

The event was honoured by the presence of Shri Varaprasad Garu, DGM of Agroforestry Department, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and Mr. Subhash, the Manager of Agroforestry Department, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant, who graced the occasion as Chief Guests.
