VARALAKSHMI VRATHAM AND RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATIONS

“Traditions are timeless treasures of the heart. Celebrating them brings us closer to our roots.”

The auspicious occasion of Varalakshmi Vratham and Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm in our school on 7th August 2025. The event was thoughtfully organised and the students from classes LKG to 10^th participated in these cultural celebrations. An insightful article on the significance of Varalakshmi Vratham highlighting its traditional values and relevance in today's world was presented by a student of class 10. A devotional song on Varalakshmi Vratham was presented by the choir enhancing the spiritual vibrance of the morning.

The celebration of Raksha Bandhan symbolising the bond between brothers and sisters was beautifully portrayed through a graceful dance performance by the students of primary classes. Demonstration of tying Rakhi by a sister to her brother was beautifully presented.

A motivational message was delivered by the Principal appreciating the efforts of the students and emphasizing the cultural importance of such festivals in nurturing values among children.

As a part of Raksha Bandhan , classroom activities were conducted in the classrooms. Students of all the classes enthusiastically participated in crafting beautiful Rakhis using eco-friendly and natural materials. The creative Rakhis were displayed in the classrooms. Students understood the concept of sustainability and environmental protection.
