PONGAL-BIHU CELEBRATIONS

As a part of Pongal-Bihu celebrations conducted on 7/1/2026, a poster making activity in the classrooms, Rangoli competition , Kite Making and Flying competitions were conducted for the students of classes 3 to 9 involving both girls and boys.

The programme aimed to create awareness about India's rich cultural diversity to encourage creativity, teamwork and joyful participation. Students designed and decorated kites and rangolis using vibrant colors and creative patterns. The activity helped the students to develop imagination and the coordination while promoting teamwork and healthy interaction among peers.

Overall, the rangoli and kite making programmes were joyful and enriching experiences for students with deeper respect for India's cultural heritage.

Our Principal and Headmistress viewed the programme and interacted with the students. They appreciated the students’ enthusiasm, creativity and active participation.
