FIRE SAFETY MOCK DRILL
A Fire Safety Mock Drill was successfully conducted in Little Angels School, Ukkunagaram on 22.04.26 for the students of classes 5 to 10, in collaboration with the Fire Safety Department, Pedagantyada. The primary objective of the drill was to educate the students and the school staff about fire prevention, emergency response procedures, and safe evacuation practices.
The programme began with an informative session led by the fire safety officials, who explained the common causes of fire accidents and demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers. Students were taught how to remain calm during emergencies and follow the safety protocols effectively.
The fire safety department officials demonstrated the effective water-based techniques to extinguish fires in both open building areas and in closed rooms. The firefighters showcased how water hoses are used to control fires in buildings with different streams of water supply.
Overall, the session provided a valuable hands-on learning and helped the students to understand proper firefighting techniques during emergencies. It was a real-time experience for all the students.
