TEACHERS' DAY CELEBRATIONS
Little Angels School celebrated Teachers' Day with great enthusiasm and reverence from 3rd to 5th September, 2026, honouring the dedication and invaluable contribution of the teaching fraternity.
Day 1 – Fun Games for Teachers: Fun and entertaining games were organised exclusively for teachers and admin staff from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm. One indoor and two outdoor games were conducted. Many teachers participated enthusiastically and displayed excellent team spirit and sportsmanship. The cheerful atmosphere and friendly competition gave them an opportunity to relax and strengthen their bond with colleagues.
Day 2 – Classroom Activities by Students: Classroom activities were organised where students expressed their love and gratitude through creative card making. With colourful cards and heartfelt messages, they beautifully conveyed their appreciation for their teachers. The activities showcased the strong bond between teachers and students.
Day 3 – Special Assembly: As a part of Teachers' Day celebrations, Day 3 was celebrated on 5th September, 2026 with great reverence and gratitude. A special PA system assembly was organised by the Green House to show respect and heartfelt appreciation for teachers. The programme began with floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan by the academic heads, teachers and student council members, followed by a melodious song dedicated to teachers and warm wishes by the student council members.
Principal Mrs. Visalakshi gave an inspiring speech highlighting the invaluable role of teachers in shaping young minds and guiding students towards a bright future. As a part of the programme, a Student-Teacher activity was also organised for Class 10 students to give them a practical understanding of the responsibilities and commitment associated with the teaching profession, where students were assigned classes to teach juniors.
The Director, Mrs. Ranganayaki, addressed the gathering, speaking on the inspiring professional journeys of the felicitated teachers and praising their long-standing association, dedication and contribution to institutional growth. Teachers also received gifts from the Management as a token of gratitude and appreciation. The prize distribution ceremony was held for various games and activities organized for the teachers, bringing a joyful and celebratory spirit to the occasion.
The event served as a fitting, meaningful and memorable tribute to the commitment of the teaching fraternity.
