The school celebrated Pongal festival on the 9^th of January, 2019 in the school premises. In this connection, various competitions were conducted for the students of LKG to 10^th like Recitation, Rangoli, Kite making and Traditional Attire. The school wore a festive look with traditional dresses of students and the colourful Rangoli designs, kites soaring high etc. Students participated in the competitions with great enthusiasm. Prizes were distributed to the winners of these competitions on the same day. Our school Director Smt.Ranganayaki, appreciated the students for coming in their traditional attires and marking the advent of Pongal. In her speech she also said that all of us should respect our culture and traditions throughout our life. She appreciated all  the students who made colourful Rangoli designs. She advised the students not to forget the moral values, tradition and culture where ever they go. Principal Smt.Visalakshi & Headmistress Smt.Arundhati also congratulated the winners of the competitions.
